This workshop will cover how to make a website responsive website through the use of CSS media queries. We’ll talk about how it’s not always useful to target specific devices since new devices are being invented all the time. Instead, we will learn how to target specific numerical breakpoints to the best of their advantage.
Create a new folder for this workshop called "workshop05".
Create a website during the span of the class that changes its form and/or content at the breakpoints (as seen in my Workshop 5):
Your website can contain any kind of content, but please include at least one image or graphic that changes on browser resize. (Remember to put your images in an "images" folder that you create.) Maybe this experiment is related to your timer app, or maybe it is something else altogether.
Practical but still experimental examples
